Gina K preview ~ Lord of the Season

I'm honored to be participating in the September new release for Gina K Designs as one of the Center Stage Spotlight designers! The set that I am previewing tonight is by Nina Brackett and is called Lord of the Season. This is such a great set and can be used all year round!

For my first card I used the Fruit wreath topiary. I went with fall colors on this one but I think it would also be great done up for Christmas!

For my second card I used the Butterfly Topiary tree. I masked off the butterflies and turned it into a Christmas Topiary . I Love how versitile this set is! I used Flower Soft on the tree and sponged around the image while it was still in the die. I really like the vintage feel of this card.

I hope you have enjoyed my sneak peaks! There will be more sneak peaks all week followed up by the big release party over on Splitcoast Stampers on Thursday night 7-10 CST. Hope to see you there!

Signs of Autumn

Today's card is for the color challenge on Stamp TV and for the sketch challenge on Stampin Sisters in Christ. Gina K is the sponser of the challenge this week. I really like the sketch but I didn't have any small square envelopes so I made my card A2 in size. I just got this K&Company DP yesterday at M's and when I saw the new color's this week on Stamp TV I thought I could make it work. We were to use Pumpkin Spice, Apple Green, and Saffron(yellow) and the DP has all of those! The apple basket is softly sponged all the way around in yellow, I couldn't get that to pick up in my photos. It's much prettier in person. Thanks for looking and have a great day!

The Pumpkin Patch

Hello! I'm Loving my Autumn Blessings set from Justrite stamps. Today's card is another triple challenge card. There are so many wonderful challenges out there and not enough time to do them all that I try to combine them where I can! First I used the sketch challenge over on Eat Sleep Stamp . This is the first time I've done one of her challenges. Found it this week when one of my SCS buddies card was featured. Congrats Carrie!! This week marks a year of challenges and she is having a very nice prize if she gets 52 people to play this week. You can win a $52 shopping spree!! So go on over and check it out. I hope to keep doing the challenges every week. Next it is for the Stamp Simply #104 challenge over on Sharon Johnson's blog No Time to Stamp? This is the first time I've done any of her challenges too I believe! We were to make a Halloween card or if we don't care for Halloween we could use a pumpkin. Lastly it is for the Inspiration Challenge over on SCS. I'm really pleased with how this card turned out, the ribbon was a pain but I finally got a decent looking bow out of it. Thanks for stopping by!

Autumn Leaves

Today I have another card for the SASI challenges, this is for TEBB challenge #11 to paper distress. I used my Heidi Swapp edge distresser on the edges of the Rustic white layer then I disressed the edges with ink. I also distressed the leaves after I ran them thru the CB swiss dots folder. The layout is for Clean & Simple stampings Fall-to layout # 58. I found this layout from a card in the SCS gallery. I really like it and wanted to give it a try. Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!

Harvest Bear

Today I have another double challenge card for you! My friend Ink is having her First TAC challenge over on her blog Inky Delight's. We were to make a card using fall colors. I chose to use the TAC Harvest Bear stamp, just love this little guy! I also used this week's Limelight sketch and we were to use Dots! I fliped the sketch so it worked with my image. If I'd have thought of it sooner I would have made the pearls form a corner instead of a straight line to be more true to the sketch. I tried to move them but it would've tore the paper so I left them the way they were. Thanks for stopping by and have a good day!
