Basketful of Daisies

Hello! It's the last Saturday in October and it's SNOWING here in south central PA!!  The leaves are still on the trees and it's so pretty out but the power has blinked once already so I need to get this post done quickly just in case!

So this week The Sweet Stop is once again revisiting one of the older sketches in our blast from the past month. Acorns and Oak Leaves

Hello! The leaves are just about at peek here, now comes the fun of raking them up! Which is alot more fun with 4 kittens wanting to help. I got a few pictures over the weekend of them i just might have to share a few soon! I'm loving this new script BG stamp that I picked up at Hobby Lobby, you may be seeing a good bit more of it! I sponged around my image with some distress ink, LOVE this stuff!! It's so nice to work with. Challenges I am entering and supplies used are listed below. Thinking of you

Hello!! This is my second post for today, The Sweet Stop sketch is in the post below. It's been a long while since I've played with my Stampscapes stamps. I love how this one turned out so thought I'd share! I masked of my moon and added sparkle to the trees using my clear glitter pen (don't think that shows in the pic though), it is very sparkly! Hello! Time for another fun sketch from The Sweet Stop! This month we are doing a blast form the past and revisiting some of the older sketches. This week it's sketch #26. It's also the 3rd saturday of the month so that means it's time for sketch with a spin! This weeks spin is recycle. One Lucky player will receive a $10 gc to Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps!! I went with a masculine themed sports card this week, for my recycling I used up scraps for my punches and sentiments. Lacey Butterfly

Hello!! I was at a stamp show in York PA last weekend and I purchased several new dies. One of them was this GORGEOUS Cheery Lynn Designs Small Lace Butterfly with Angel Wings. I have made several of the butterflies, which is a good thing because I ended up breaking my cuttlebug!! :0(  Hoping for a 50% off coupon soon so that I can replace it.  I got the idea for my card from this card I found in the gallery over on SCS. Operation Julie's Smile

For my card today I used the Just Sayin' set thats available only at Paper and Such. I made my butterfly from a large prima flower. I got the idea from the Wild Orchid crafts website awhile back from a video they had posted, sorry I didn't save the link. They used a much smaller flower but this is the only 5 petal flower that I had that would work. I also think this card works out great for October being that it's Breast cancer awareness month.

Swirly Trees

Sweet Stop Sketch

Hello! It's Saturday so that means it's time for The Sweet Stop sketch challenge! This month we are doing a blast from the past and revisiting some of the previous sketches. This week we are doing Sketch #7. I once again made a A2 size version of the sketch. For my Sweet Mango layer I took a 6x6 piece of screen used a stipple brush and applied versamark ink to make the patterned background.
